The leaves turn colour and fall to the ground. The change of seasons is always so fascinating to me. I love this time of year because of the colours of the trees and the cooler air.
The rain has returned. May I have the grace to appreciate it and not get depressed!
I’ve enjoyed standing at the end of the inlet and watching all the birds. The other day there was a group of eagles flying around and landing and eating the dead salmon in the stream (I know, kind of gross, but the flying around was cool). Every day the geese fly over. They fly in formation; if you listen carefully, you can hear the sound of their wings. Then there are the ever-present crows and seagulls pestering one another and making noise.
Twice in October, I saw a healthy coyote walk by. It all adds up to fascination, beauty, and joy!
As I walk home I’m reminded that "this" is love and bliss!
Thank you sun and fire, air, earth, and water.
